About Echos Design

echos_logoAt Echos Design, we are always looking to challenge the status quo. We ask ourselves frequently: Why are things designed a certain way and more importantly can we make it better? We take our design inspiration from the design philosophy of Dieter Rams’s 10 Principle of Good Design. We simply want Good Design. Currently we have been working on a Patent Pending product called the Übercaster. It enhances and simplifies local broadcasting. The industry standard medium has been using FM, we want to make it WiFi. No need for dedicated and expensive FM devices, just use your smartphone!

We created a hardware device that WiFi broadcasts Audio in Real-Time and made apps that you and many other people can use your to listen to the audio. Freely broadcast anywhere to anyone audio live!

K.J Yoo – Founder 

K.J studied Electrical/Computer engineering and German at Calvin College. He has a diverse interest in business, music, languages, technology, and philosophy. He lived in Germany, South Korea, and in the U.S. He has interned for Porsche Development Center in Weissach, Germany and also at MoNET (The Laboratory of Molecular Neuroimaging Technology) at Severance Hospital in Seoul, South Korea. He enjoys playing piano, violin, and guitar in his free time.

Román Belda Ortega - Android Developer 

Román Belda received the Computer Science degree from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), Valencia, Spain, in 2004. He is currently working towards the M.S. degree in telematics at UPV. He also currently works as a Researcher at the Multimedia Communications research group (COMM) of the iTEAM Institute, UPV. His areas of interest are mobile applications and multimedia transmission protocols.

 

 0abb150Emanuel Aguilera Martí - iOS Developer 

Emanuel Aguilera received a telecommunications engineering degree in 2004 and a M.S. degree in Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition and Digital Image in 2011, both from the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain. He is a researcher and senior programmer at the Institute of Telecommunications and Multimedia Applications (iTEAM), where he has been working since 2006 on the area of digital signal processing for audio, multimedia, virtual reality and mobile devices applications. From the iTEAM labs, he has developed several innovation projects for the multinational company Telefonica. He is interested in wave-field synthesis, image processing, real-time multimedia processing for telecommunications and audio applications for mobile platforms.
